What is Shin Megami Tensei - Devil Children 2 - Koori no Sho?
Shin Megami Tensei - Devil Children 2 - Koori no Sho (or Icebound Land) is a geographical RPG ingrained with traditional Shinto mythology pan conceptions, practically showcasing a charming yet challenging gameplay featuring three children amid a demon-filled world of mystery and morale issues. Released in Japan under the Rising Sun banner, this game is notable for its intriguing, challenging story and enticing gameplay. The amalgamation of strategic gameplay interspersed with storytelling and ambiance places this one above other RPGs.

How to Play
Koori no Sho follows the classic turn-based RPG formula, with players assuming the roles of one of three protagonists, each boasting an array of unique abilities and backgrounds. Gameplay consists of exploring this pixelated world, chatting with NPCs, and fighting demons who use a combination of physical damage, magic spells, and demon contracts. Players can steal demons and use them in their party, with each demon having strengths and weaknesses and choice alignments. The game is notoriously difficult but highly rewarding, favoring strategic thinking and resource allocation to a greater degree. The key to winning is to unravel the mystery of the icebound world and vanquish the mighty demon lord Malak.
Tips and Tricks
-
Diversify your party: Because demon contracts can be fickle, it's best to keep a whole range of demons in your party for any situation. Fire-based, ice-based, and lightning-based demons are all excellent choices in all respects because their attacks can break enemy defenses.
-
Conserve your MP: Magic attacks require a lot of MP but are really powerful. Balance your use of magic and physical attacks, though, to not waste MP.
-
Speak to all NPCs: The story is filled with hidden tidbits and side quests. Chat with every NPC you bump into-they often give you useful intel or items.
-
Contract carefully: Watch out for your demon's alignment when recruiting. Some may be too powerful or dangerous to hold onto-and you want to make that call carefully.
